If it involves the protection of High Value Assets or individuals, MAPS® has the expertise to help. We are able to deploy the correctly trained and licensed SIA security officers to meet legalisation complying with The Security Act (2001) when deploying in the UK. This ranges from door supervisors and dog handlers to cash in transit, up to close protection officers (bodyguards).

MAPS® has close relationships with the UK Special Forces and intelligence professionals, and as a result can offer our clients the highest level of security and professionalism internationally. Depending on the level of threat, we offer three levels of personnel:

  • Level 1 SF (ex-UK Special Forces) sourced exclusively from the Special Air Service or Special Boat Service (SBS).
  • Level 2 Elite (ex-Royal Marines / Parachute Regiment) and other specialist intelligence units.
  • Level 3 Civilian Security Door supervisors, dog handlers, cash in transit, mobile security all SIA licensed with experience in confrontational environments where a physical presence is a deterrent.

As a first step to resolving your problem, our initial consultation will be by phone or in person. The outcome will be a formulated action plan, which will be executed at speed by our highly experienced former Special Forces intelligence professional, so taking the pressure off your situation and staff. Once the initial action is taken and the security threat is controlled or neutralised, MAPS® will review and monitor the case with your consent to a satisfactory completion.

Our Services

Site/Location Security:

Where deployment time to a location is paramount, the  need for on-site security at short notice is often vitally important. In many insolvency cases this means supplying security personnel on multiple sites in various locations across the UK and the world. The MAPS® operations team has the experience and global network of contacts  to achieve this.

Close Protection Officers:

All our officers are fully trained and hold a Close Protection license registered by the (SIA) for UK deployment. We are acutely aware of  the need for discreet security combined with a sympathetic approach to cultural, political and religious issues – but at the same time ensuring our clients have peace of mind that their assets and personnel are in good hands. Our former military close protection officers have years of experience in volatile locations such as Iraq/Afghanistan and other hostile environments and commercial centres. Their experience, knowledge and expertise is second to none.

Security Dog and Handler:

A well trained licensed handler and dog can offer another level of protection where deemed appropriate. The skill of the handler and dog heightens the security awareness level. For example:

  • The heightened sense of smell and hearing of the dog enables the handler to be more aware.
  • A well trained dog will show controlled aggression. While holding ground and protecting assets and security personnel, the dog can also be used to detain suspects until the authorities arrive.
  • A police quoted statistic is that a police dog and handler are as effective as 8 police officers where the correct environment allows.
  • A dog and handler can be more cost effective by reducing the amount of security officers deployed.
  • This service can be a cost-effective solution to managing aggressive/hostile situations and large open spaces.

Mobile Patrols:

Mobile Patrols offer a fast, efficient alternative in terms of cost to manned security to comply with your insurance policies. MAPS® is able to arrange scheduled and random visits via the mobile security model. Our initial security consultation with you will highlight your requirements and provide you with options.

Cash in Transit

MAPS® has experience where cash is required collected in a secure and professional manner. During an insolvency procedure, for example, when cash needs to be removed from the premises to a secure location or bank. We have provided this service on many occasions at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
